insight of Light

Encouraging words of faith, hope, and obedience to strengthen your walk with God.

Obedience is a walk. A walk that as believers we have to take and journey in till we get to our destination which is God. As a believer, you should know that obedience is better than sacrifice. In obedience, we get to experience submission, trust, hope, most especially the will of God.

In submission we learn to resign to the authority of God. That in his authority, we follow everything he has instructed and nothing we want.

In trust, we learn to let go and let God. We lay in God and drift in him. The enemy has put us in a place where we want to be in control of everything especially our lives, it is now our turn to let go of anything that makes sense to us and let God control it all.

In hope, our destination is clear. We have one goal in our journey of obedience and that goal is God. Our hope is not in anything this world can bear or what we can physically see but in God. The one who created the life we are living knows we are headed to in him.

You know that one scripture that says that;

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭29‬:‭11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The will of God is to give us peace. The only way to get this peace, is to search for him with all your heart. Search ye for the lord brethren, come to him. The only way to get this peace is obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ.

Obedience is better than sacrifice. Our place in Christ is greater than our place in world.

Hearken o ye brethren. Hearken to the word of God. He wants to give you peace, he wants to save you. He wants you to sit with him in heavenly places far above principalities and powers. Let the lord be sufficient for you. Let us trust him and submit unto him, and hope in him who is able to give us life and life more abundantly. It is he who loves us, all we have to do is hear him and stay in obedience to his calling.

Let him instruct you, let him lead you .
